Starting with Nexus 2.0*, the bundled distributions contain a common start script that can be used to control Nexus.
Execute ./bin/nexus ( ./bin/nexus.bat on Windows ) without any parameters to get the supported commands for controlling Nexus.
Our Nexus book contains the detailed instructions for starting Nexus from the command line. Have a look here.
Sometimes, things can go unexpectedly wrong - so we've listed some potential problems and their solutions.
* Older 1.x versions of Nexus required the user to manually choose the appropriate platform specific control script for Nexus under the path ./bin/jsw/<platform>/nexus(.bat)
