We have discovered an incorrect access control vulnerability in Nexus Repository 3.
A user account with low privileges can access the SSL Certificates Loading function. We have fixed the issue by ensuring that user accounts can only access SSL Certificates if they have corresponding privileges. This advisory provides the pertinent information needed to properly address this vulnerability along with the details on how to reach us if you have any further questions or concerns.
We highly recommend all instances of Nexus Repository 3 upgrade to 3.36.0 or later. The latest version can be downloaded from:
