Please read this article carefully - it contains important information about the use of AI when submitting a request to Sonatype Support.
When clicking Next Step on the Submit a Request web form, our Sona AI assistant will analyze your form data and possibly make a suggestion typically within 20 seconds.
If you don't like the suggestion, it doesn't solve your issue, or it takes longer than expected, you will still be able to choose Create Request and create a support ticket for our Sonatype Support Team members.
If Sona AI generates an acceptable suggestion, simply close or navigate away from the request form.
Things to know:
- This feature is in BETA.
- Sona AI has been highly optimized to answer questions about Sonatype products and solutions. If you have any concerns or questions about the answers provided by Sona AI, please let us know.
- Sona AI is constantly learning but mistakes can happen. Please test any suggestion before you deploy.
- If Sona AI takes longer to answer than expected you will have an option to cancel the suggestion process and then immediately create a request.
- If you create a request after viewing a Sona AI answer, the responding support person may not know what Sona AI already suggested to you and may offer a similar solution. Thank you for your patience as we work to address this.
- Request attachments are NOT analyzed by Sona AI.
- An answer is suggested based on your Subject, Description and other required form values.
- Sona AI may decide NOT to provide a suggestion, in which case clicking Next Step will immediately create a support ticket.
